Breast Augmentation
Many women are disappointed by the size or shape of their breasts. We all have our own ideas about size, but most women would agree that a beautiful bust line should look firm, full and uplifted. Breast surgery is the most common cosmetic procedure performed today. With the ever increasing, developments in breast implant technology, women are assured of the most up to date safety features as well as a beautiful result.

What does breast enlargement involve?
This hour long, straight-forward surgical procedure is performed under general anaesthetic. Incisions are kept to a minimum and are concealed within the crease of the breast or nipple. Carefully selected implants are placed behind the natural breast tissue or muscle layer, which pushes the breast forward. The incisions are normally sewn up with one continuous stitch, which is removed after seven days or with dissolvable sutures, depending on the surgeon's preference.

Are implants safe?
Despite lots of scares and misinformation in the press, there is still no evidence to suggest that there is any link between silicone gel leakage and ill health. The National Implant Registry is responsible for the assessment of safe manufacture and performance of breast implants. They continually scrutinized all available clinical data to establish if there is any truth in the accusations that silicone gel may cause illness and have not found a shred of evidence to support such a theory.
